Step by Step - Fallout Shelter on your PC Tutorial

So, you want to play Fallout Shelter on your PC?
It is actually not all that difficult, just follow the steps below and you will be up and running in no time.

I tested this on my Lenovo Laptop, running on Windows 10 64-bit, your mileage may vary, but if you have any questions, just ask them in the comments section.

I must say, it is much nicer than playing on phone or even a tablet:

First you need to download and install Andy. It is an android emulator running on Virtualbox

You can get Andy HERE

Download the program by following the download link at the top:

Once it has finished downloading, run the installer:

You can stick to the defaults, I did, and I am quite happy with it:

The install takes a while, since it has to download the VM from the internet....
Once it completes, you may be required to reboot your computer. Once ready, you can launch Andy from the Desktop Icon:

It will take a moment to do the first boot:

Select your language and press Start

You need your Google Account to access the play store

Enter your Google login details

Click "OK" to proceed

You can make your own choice here, I choose not to back up.

Again, make your own choice and click next

Finish the setup

Use your Google Account for 1ClickSync

After finishing the setup, click on the app drawer icon

Click on "Play Store"

Search for "Fallout Shelter Bethesda", and click on the "Fallout Shelter" game

Click "Install"

Click "Accept"

Wait ....
 Click "Open"

 Play the game!!!
